Description

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of an SO [1st 4 tasks]/SSO [all as listed below] in general include (but are not limited to):

• General Screening
• Patrolling & Guarding
• Access & Egress Control
• Incident Response
• Operate Security & Safety Systems
• Regulating Traffic
• CCTV monitoring
• Assist State/Auxiliary Police in law enforcement
• Key Press Management

Qualifications

Minimally, applicants must have / be able to:

• Basic licencing courses for Security Officer
• Possess a valid PLRD licence
• Have a basic proficiency in English language (Spoken & Written)
• Be physically fit to conduct patrol & clocking duties (depending on deployment)
• Be mentally fit to carry out the basic functions of a Security Officer
